Battery Adapter Information & Safety Guidelines

All battery adapters are designed and manufactured by Terrafirma Technology and are compatible with batteries from a variety of other brands. We are not affiliated with DEWALT®, MILWAUKEE®, RYOBI®, KOBALT®, Porter Cable®, or any other brand.

Important Safety Information

Fuse Protection: Use a fuse rated about 30% higher than the max current you expect to draw.
Battery Protection: Add a low-voltage disconnect circuit or a timer to prevent the battery from dropping below its safe threshold.

Typical low-voltage threshold ≈ (Max battery voltage ÷ 4.2) × 3.3

Voltage Regulation: Always use a DC-DC converter to match your device’s acceptable voltage range.

Failure to follow these precautions can damage your battery, shorten its lifespan, or harm the device. We do not recommend using our adapters without fully understanding proper protection.
